Accounts Assistant Role Overview
As the Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting their finance team with day-to-day transactions. You will be responsible for processing and maintaining the Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger records and will report into the Financial Controller.
Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
- High volumes of purchase invoices on Sage 50
- Manage supplier invoice queries via email and phone
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Sales Ledger – Raising invoices
- Preparing weekly debtor reports
- Setting up payment plans and processing credit card payments
- Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statement.
- Maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity
- Processing and reconciliation of invoices
Accounts Assistant Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Sage 50 experience required
- Work efficiently to agreed deadlines
- Impeccable communications skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks as needed
- Enthusiasm and a proactive approach to work
