The Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in quoting machined components across various manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on Milling, Turning, and Sliding Head Lathes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for machined components, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
• Read and interpret customer technical drawings and models, including compliance with national, international, and customer-specific standards.
• Understand a broad range of treatment processes and secure external pricing from suppliers for all subcontracted processes.
• Assess the commercial viability of costed jobs, ensuring sustainable margins while remaining competitive.
