Our client is a local well known, established charity and they are currently expanding their Volunteer team, they are recruiting for a temporary Part-Time Administrator to support the team. This is a new role, working 22.5 hours per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), hours 9.00am - 5.00pm (30mins lunch). Initially temporary until March 2025, with potential for longer term. This position will include;
- Ensuring all volunteer records are up to date and accurate
- Supporting the L&D co-ordinator with monitoring and maintaining volunteer training records
- Liasing with staff including shop managers with any volunteer changes
- Maintaining the approved volunteer drivers registered including monitoring professional registration, membershps, insurance and driver declaration checks.
- Monitoring DBS renewals
- Supporting the Recruitment Lead in ID check
- Reporting on long service anniversaries, volunteer recruitment, communication, leavers
- Sending out volunteer Thank You, Birthday and Anniversary cards
- Deleting records in accordance with GDPR
You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of working in a busy administrative position and it would be advantageous to have worked in a charity or within HR/recruitment previously. Salary GBP12.05ph
