HR Manager A well established and highly respected high-street firm is looking for a HR Manager. Your role will be to ensure compliance with company policies and assist the Compliance Manager in maintaining HR-related policies and procedures. You will manage all aspects of Human Resources, including personnel records and tasks across the firm.Key Responsibilities:
  • HR administration: Oversee contracts, new starter details, right-to-work documentation, and ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Update policies and procedures as needed.
  • Manage diversity and equality initiatives within the company.
  • Develop strong employee relationships to promote retention.
  • Handle maternity, paternity, and risk assessments.
  • Assess training needs, implement training programs, and support employee development.
  • Oversee appraisals and monitor performance (attendance, probation, sickness, holidays).
  • Manage disciplinary actions and formal grievances.
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager on new starters and digital platform integration.
  • Oversee recruitment, on-boarding, probation, and staff retention, including creating job descriptions.
  • Use HR software and Office 365 for correspondence, records, and documents.
  • Provide advice and direction to employees, offering support and guidance.
