Our client is looking for their first legal hire, the successful Corporate Lawyer is required to head up the legal services division in a well known local accountancy and consultancy firm.

Description
- Provide a wide range of corporate legal advice to a diverse clientele
- Draft and negotiate a range of corporate contracts.
- Provide corporate advice including M&A, joint ventures, insolvency and restructuring.
- Advise on corporate governance and regulatory compliance
- Liaise with other departments to provide a holistic service to clients
- Keep up-to-date with changes in corporate law
- No business development is required in this role as you will be providing advice to already known clients.
- There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to grow the legal services function
Profile
A successful Corporate Lawyer should have:
- A relevant legal qualification
- Excellent knowledge of corporate law
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A client-focused approach and strong business acumen
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Job Offer
- A competitive salary in the region of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum DOE.
