Legal Administrator - ConveyancingAre you an experienced administrator looking for a permanent opportunity to join the legal world of conveyancing in Taunton? Whether you currently work in a legal or property environment, or have administrative experience from another field, we'd love to hear from you. If you're highly organised with great attention to detail, this could be the perfect role for you! TSR Legal have an opportunity for a Legal Administrator to join a Legal 500 firm's Shared Services team within the Conveyancing Services department. In this role, you will work closely with Conveyancers, addressing client queries, drafting documents, and ensuring compliance to facilitate smooth housing transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and learn new skills in a dynamic and challenging sector. What You'll Do:Full training will be provided as needed, and key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries and providing excellent customer service to both new and returning clients.
  • Assisting with the initial matter setup, including generating instruction confirmation letters, updating records, and entering client information.
  • Supporting Conveyancers to ensure a high-quality service and compliance with all necessary standards.
  • Handling due diligence to meet Anti-Money Laundering regulations, where applicable.
  • Managing routine client enquiries and ensuring all required information is gathered for file opening.

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior administrative experience (experience in property transactions would be beneficial but is not essential).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to working within a quality standard framework.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the desire to collaborate.
  • Availability to work in Taunton full-time (this is an office-based role).
