Red Recruitment is recruiting an Account Manager to join our client, a private healthcare provider with over 100 years of experience, they are also a not-for-profit, environmentally friendly organisation looking after both their customers and employees.

You will be responsible for keeping in touch regularly with your own portfolio of customers, ensuring that all queries are responded to, and delivering interactive presentations to all levels of management, directors and trustees.

You should have Cert CII, if not you will need to pass this during your probation period (12 months).

This is a full-time position located in Taunton.

Key Responsibilities of an Account Manager:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with the corporate SME, MCD and Protocol customers
  • Understanding the needs of the customers and proactively implementing strategies, benefits and products appropriate to them
  • Ensuring renewal terms are provided to customers in a timely manner
  • Preparing for and attending scheme review meetings, demonstrating full knowledge of their scheme and showing versatility during the meeting
  • Assisting in the setup and servicing of quality new business, working alongside the appropriate sales channel when required
  • Producing management information reports as needed

Key Skills and Experience of an Account Manager:

  • You should have Cert CII, if not you will need to pass this during your probation period
  • Proven experience working at a senior level, ideally in a fast-paced and regulated environment
  • You should have a track record of successfully managing and building client relationships
  • Experience in understanding relevant legislation and regulation and applying it practically in day-to-day business situations
  • A positive attitude focused on improving service standards and outcomes
  • Experience in an industry which is related to healthcare is desirable
