Our client, a growing healthcare group, is seeking an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join their dynamic team. Job Title: Finance Assistant (Hybrid)

Hours:8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

Location:Taunton, Somerset (office based with hybrid working 1-2 days from home)

Salary:Up to £25K DOE

Key Responsibilities:

As a Finance Assistant, you will contribute to the success of the finance team by performing various tasks, including:

  • Accurate input of invoices onto the accounting software
  • Reporting any discrepancies with invoices
  • Supplier invoice reconciliation
  • Chasing outstanding invoices
  • Bank and Petty Cash reconciliations
  • Preparation of payment runs
  • Ensuring compliance with group KPIs
  • Assisting in additional finance tasks as required

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Passion for working in Finance - either prior experience or an AAT quaification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of what makes a great Accounts Payable team
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Great organisational and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel
