We are working on behalf of a well-established fostering agency seeking a dedicated Supervising Social Worker to join their team in Taunton. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support, guidance, and supervision to our foster carers, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to provide a loving and nurturing environment for children in their care.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular supervision and support to foster carers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the needs of children in their care.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of foster homes and families.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for children in foster care.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local authorities and other relevant agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Social Work degree or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the Social Work England
