We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our school community. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive and innovative environment where your contributions will have a lasting impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and manage the electronic signing-in system.
  • Assist in organising meetings, including agendas and minutes.
  • Provide HR administrative support, including personnel files and recruitment paperwork.
  • Support school events such as parents' evenings and public events.
  • Manage incoming calls/emails and distribute messages appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate school attendance records and assist with termly attendance data reports.
  • Oversee school payments and ensure timely documentation to the finance team.
  • Provide general administrative support, including typing, photocopying, and filing.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming.
  • Manage the school diary and communication services.
  • Support administrative aspects of the school meals process.

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSEs A-C (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
  • Experience in reception and clerical work.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively with frequent interruptions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
