UK Operations Coordinator

Annual Salary: £27,000 - £28,000

Location: Teddington

Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (2-3 days in the office)

Join the team and contribute to shaping the future of creative professionals. My client is  looking for a UK Operations Coordinator to manage and coordinate Exams across the UK and Ireland, and Recorded Digital exams globally. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of their services.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Take direct responsibility for allocated GME centres and oversee others allocated to Exams Officers.
  • Act as the lead for the UK GME sub-team, mentoring colleagues as required.
  • Ensure there are sufficient sessions to meet the demand for face-to-face and live stream exams, including booking dates, scheduling exams, and issuing information to customers.
  • Handle customer enquiries, notably scheduling changes, and liaise with centre representatives.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Resources Manager for the allocation of examiners to sessions.
  • Ensure timely issuance of results and certificates.
  • Support colleagues, particularly Exams Officers, in their roles as time and priorities allow.
  • Maintain awareness of other workstreams, particularly music theory and production exams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent level of education, or comparable experience.
  • Proven organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • High level of IT literacy and confidence.
  • Ability to foster supportive and constructive relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
