Are you an experienced mechanical engineer looking for a new challenge with a forward-thinking company?
Our client, a market leader in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated systems and mechanical equipment, and we are seeking a professional Field Service Engineer to oversee installation and maintenance in the Teddington and South-West LondonArea.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment on customer sites.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults, providing effective solutions and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous approach with clients.
  • Work independently while managing your time and tasks effectively, with occasional collaboration with team members.
  • Complete all service reports and paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Report to the regional service manager on progress and updates.
  • Develop proficiency with IT systems, especially Microsoft Office products

Key Requirements:

  • A background in mechanical engineering or mechanical diagnostic/repairs, either through formal qualification or hands-on experience.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in various locations.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to maintain a polite and professional manner when dealing with clients.
  • Flexibility to travel and work on the road as part of the role.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
