RM Recruit are partnering with an excellent not-for-profit organisation in their search for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time, remote working, temporary basis for 3-4 months. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to make an immediate impact by providing high-level financial support, delivering insightful management accounts, and driving key financial initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be immediately available or available on short notice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Carry out budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Play a primary role within the financial planning processes, including preparation, communication with stakeholders, data collection and integrity, control and data distribution to managers and the finance team, commentary, and analysis. Oversee financial planning processes and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Support process improvements and drive efficiencies across financial operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and business partnering.
Person Specification:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
- Proven experience in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
