A successful manufacturing business investing in their future have an excellent opportunity for a Process Engineer/Quality professional to join their team!

The Process & Quality Engineer role encompasses the provision of technical improvements to all production, specifically equipment, process and materials. Managing process through the monitoring of machines and equipment so that any engineering and performance optimisation activities are completed on time and ensuring required levels of quality and cost are met.

Role Description.
Monitoring processes to ensure all machines and equipment are operated to optimise performance, maintain production and maximise yields.
Reporting both daily and weekly to identify underperforming areas in the factory; analyse root cause, plan, implement and deliver solutions (both trouble shooting and problem-solving process issues using lean tools).
Implementation of CI practices ensuring coaching for all operational departments.
Train and implement the deployment and use of process and quality improvement tools.
Participate in quality improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Lead the review, investigation, and corrective action process for customer complaints.
Internal auditing of the quality system.
Research new equipment and processes to enable the achievement of optimum levels of Quality, Cost & Cycle Time and OEE performance.
Plan and execute projects to ensure that project timelines, quality and cost targets are met.

Skills and Qualifications.
Process / Manufacturing Engineer experience.
Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Proven track record in Continuous Improvement with additional quality exposure.
Green Belt Six Sigma qualified (desirable).
Strong analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and organisational ability.
