Seymour John is exclusively partnering with a large manufacturing business in Telford to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global organisation and play a key role in their accounts function. The position involves processing a high volume of invoices and liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process a high volume of purchase invoices.
- Liaise with the supply chain and procurement teams.
- Investigate and resolve invoice queries.
- Communicate professionally with suppliers.
- Manage payment runs and supplier accounts.
- Set up and maintain supplier account details.
- Ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
Who We’re Looking For
- Ideally AAT qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven bookkeeping or purchase ledger experience, ideally within an accountancy practice or in a standalone role.
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- A resilient, process-driven professional with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in SAP B1 and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated experience handling a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
