This is a fantastic job opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing company in Telford. They are looking for a Receptionist/ Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client is looking for someone that possesses a friendly, polite and upbeat manner on the telephone and who understands the importance of delivering an excellent level of service to both internal and external customers. This is a fast-paced working environment so the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure is essential. For this role you will have at least 3 years in a similar administrative, reception or customer service role with comparable goals and responsibilities.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

Act as the first point of contact when required. This includes answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls to the correct individual/ department.

Management of the company sales email address inbox to ensure all emails are forwarded to the correct contact in a timely manner.

Providing first class customer service by responding quickly to all enquiries and ensuring any issues are dealt with promptly.

Assisting with a wide variety of administration tasks, including Customer Care, Processing of POs, and Contracts.

Administration cover for holidays and sickness.

Skills and Experience

A good level of education (to GCSE standard in Maths and English ideally grade C or above).

You will need to be experienced with Microsoft Office Programs including Word and Excel.

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

The ability to communicate with people across all levels of the business.

Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.

Accuracy and a keen attention to detail.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Problem solving skills.

The ability to work at a fast pace and to meet deadlines.

Excellent organisational skills.

The ability to work under pressure.
