Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Support Learning Activities: Assist in the implementation of planned lessons and educational programs, making adjustments as necessary based on student needs. Provide support to all students, including those with special educational needs, ensuring their safety and effective participation in learning activities.
  • Foster Well-being: Help promote students' social and emotional well-being by implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Plans under the direction of teaching staff. Build positive relationships with students to support their overall development.
  • Classroom Management: Supervise and support students during lessons and other school activities. Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment, helping with classroom management and additional support as required.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: GCSEs in Maths and English (minimum grade 4) or equivalent.
  • Experience: A TA qualification or relevant experience in an educational setting, with a track record of supporting children, including those with special educational needs.
