About the Role:
Claire at Amber Mace is seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to lead a Nursing Home in Telford. This role is ideal for a passionate individual who is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care and has a proven track record in managing care services. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the residents receive the highest level of care, and that the home operates in line with the latest regulatory standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services.
Inspire, motivate, and manage a team of care staff, ensuring their development through training, supervision, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including those of the Care Quality Commission
Provide clinical leadership, ensuring that care plans are implemented effectively and that residents receive person-centered care.
Oversee medication management, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with regulatory requirements.
Resident and Family Engagement:
Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and addressing any concerns promptly.
Promote a culture of openness, trust, and inclusion within the home.
Financial Management:
Manage the budget for the care facility, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are used effectively.
Monitor occupancy levels and work to maximize revenue while maintaining high standards of care.

Regularly review and audit care practices, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery.
Implement and maintain quality assurance systems to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.

Qualifications and Experience:
Must hold a valid Nursing PIN (Registered General Nurse, Registered Mental Health Nurse, or Registered Learning Disability Nurse).
Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a care setting, preferably with a strong background in elderly care.
Comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations and experience in managing inspections.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage budgets and understand financial management principles.
