We're supporting a leading print and production business based in Telford who are seeking a conscientious, flexible, and skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support their operations across a busy 24/7 manufacturing site.

Within the role you’ll work in partnership with an equally skilled mechanical engineer, working on a shift pattern which offers an excellent work/life balance in modern working conditions.
The Role
- Carrying out both reactive and preventative electrical maintenance across a variety of print production machinery and site facilities
- Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment using appropriate testing tools
- Supporting mechanical maintenance where needed
- Taking ownership of planned maintenance tasks and improvement projects
- Using a CMMS to track stock and schedule tasks
- Contributing to the installation and upgrade of equipment and systems
- Supporting and guiding apprentices and less experienced engineers
- Ensuring all work is completed with a strong focus on health & safety
The Person
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (HNC preferred) OR experience equivalent
- Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience as a site based electrical engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing / print environment
- Strong fault-finding abilities, ideally including PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Health & safety aware and proactive in a continuous improvement environment
