Days Monday to Friday 42.5 hours

We are working with a market leading manufacturing business in Telford who are experiencing continued growth and are in need of a Panel Wirer on a temporary basis for circa 2-3 months. During this period, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of electrical distribution equipment. You will also be working within the production department to ensure quality of products and ensuring production deadlines are met.

The Panel Wirer will be responsible for:

  • Working alongside the production team to meet manufacturing schedule
  • Assembling and wiring electrical distribution products
  • Reading BOMs, electrical and circuit diagrams
  • Ensuring products are labelled and clean ready for inspection
  • Checking products before sign off to ensure quality
  • Working with the Production and Quality Manager
  • Assisting the project teams with any requirements
  • Aiding colleague with workload

Skills and Experience

  • BS7671 Wiring Regulations 18th edition preferable
  • Previous experience within a similar role or field
  • Understanding of BS EN 61439 and BS 7909 would be beneficial
  • Must be a team player and willing to assist colleagues
  • This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Panel Wirer / Panel Wireman / Electrician / Industrial Electrician / Test Engineer / Electrical Test Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Electrical Installation Engineer / Elec Bias Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Engineer
