Job Title: Finance Analyst
Location: Telford
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Top of the salary range will be offered to candidate with relevant industry experience, experience with SAP and working experience analysing large data sets.
We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join an established business based in Telford. This role will play a crucial role in transforming the finance department, alongside the Head of Finance! The ideal candidate will possess strong data processing and analytical skills, with an understanding of the importance of data collaboration and presentation.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Collaborating with the Head of Finance to build data analysis across various business areas, including sales performance, working capital, profitability, operation performance and cost control.
- Conduct rolling analysis on a weekly/monthly basis as required.
- Assist with external audits (Financial, Quality, Customer).
- Provide support to all managers and employees in retrieving and understanding information, as well as supplying additional requested data.
- Engage in continuous data cleansing activities.
- Support forecasting and variance analysis to budgets throughout the business.
- Identify and investigate areas to improve company profitability.
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks reasonably requested by the leadership team.
Ideally, You Will:
- Hold a relevant degree, such as Accounting & Finance, or by AAT qualified.
- Must be a driven candidate that will hit the ground running and grab the bull by the horns!
- Possess and demonstrate great accuracy and attention to detail as well as the ability to work to deadlines.
- Advanced Excel skills are desirable with the use of graphs, charts and dashboards.
- Previous experience working on SAP would be ideal, however is not essential.
