Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Distribution company in their search for a Mandarin Speaking Import/Export Operatorto work from their site in Telford.

For the successful Mandarin Speaking Import/Export Operator our client is offering:

• Salary up to £30,000 per annum DOE, this will be reviewed after 6 months
• Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5.00pm, with 1 hour lunch
• Permanent position

The role - Mandarin Speaking Import/Export Operator:

• Data entry into the SAP system
• Provide efficient delivery logistics through data management
• Communication via Phone/Email with suppliers in China
• Arranging for delivery of shipping containers into the Warehouse, other parts of the UK/Globally
• Tracking of shipments
• Preparing quotes for UK clients on shipments
• Coordinate shipping with customs agents for clearance on oversea containers
• Responsible for movement of goods from another country, ensuring deliveries are made on time
• Generating invoices
• Handling sales/purchase transactions
• Resolving customer queries in a prompt manner

What our client is looking for in a Mandarin Speaking Import/Export Operator:

• Mandarin Speaking is ESSENTIAL
• Our client is looking for somebody to have previous experience in a Import/Export or shipping role - ESSENTIAL
• Ability to work to short deadlines
• Ability to organise own workload
• Attention to detail is a must
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• Exceptional communication skills over the phone and face to face
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Excel
• Friendly and professional to work with a small team
• Adaptable and flexible to working hours
• Experience with SAP advantageous
