**Exciting Opportunity: ERP Project Leader - Telford, Shropshire**
Are you ready to steer your career in a new and exciting direction? This leading manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic ERP Project Leader to join their dedicated team on a contract basis. Located in the heart of Telford, this role offers the perfect blend of challenge and opportunity, providing you with the platform to showcase your skills and make a tangible impact.
This is a contract role that is likely to last for roughly 6 months, the business have started the implementation of a SAGE 200 ERP/MRP system to replace SAGE 50 and existing manual processes (including multiple spreadsheets), drive increased efficiencies, de-skill tasks, improve operational accuracy and enhance MI.
The day rate will be between £400 - £500 per day (dependant on experience), and the hiring manager is ideally looking for someone who lives within a 25-30 mile radius of Telford, Shropshire.
**What You Will Do:**
- Lead the Phase 2 implementation of the SAGE 200 ERP/MRP system, ensuring successful project delivery within agreed time-scales.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive project plan, providing support and guidance to the team throughout the implementation process.
- Conduct a thorough review of existing internal processes and realign them with the new ERP system to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, delivering tasks personally and managing implementation through effective leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements in line with the ERP system capabilities.
- Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency, contributing to the company's ethos of engagement and project management excellence.
**What You Will Bring:**
- Proven experience in project managing and implementing ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with SAGE 200 and Sicon products, with a preference for experience in sheet metal/fabrication.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand business needs and develop effective plans to meet project objectives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working strategically and operationally within a cross-functional team.
- A task and process-oriented mindset, with a mid-level operational ability to engage at all levels of the project.
