Pertemps driving division is seeking HGV 1 drivers for weekly and last-minute bookings in the Telford and Shropshire region.
Candidates must have a Category C+E entitlement held for a minimum of 2 years and 6 months of experience driving C+E vehicles.
The role involves conducting safety checks, driving various heavy goods vehicles, and performing general haulage work including internal and external deliveries.
The pay ranges from £15.00 to £25.50 depending on shifts, with ongoing assignments available on a PAYE basis.

The roles will entail and not limited to:

Conducting daily/weekly pre-journey safety checks, ensuring the truck remains in a safe, roadworthy condition.
Driving various heavy goods vehicles with a variety of trailers depending on the load.
General haulage work
Internal and external deliveries, Depot to depot deliveries/collections.
Handball can be involved.
Strapping loads
Trunking work
Trailer swapping
Yard shunting/movements

To be considered for thisHGV 1driver role you will need:

Category C+E entitlement(MUST OF HELD FOR A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS)
6 Months experience driving C+E vehicle
Valid Tacho and DQC cards
Friendly, professional, and dedicated to great customer service
An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work at a fast pace
Flexible approach to work and willingness to support when needed
PAYE Only
