Your new companyYou will be joining a high-profile and established main contractor based in Birmingham operating in the water sector. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work with Severn Trent and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the industry and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to join their team.

This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid working. With sites across the Severn Trent region, you will also have the flexibility to manage projects closest to home.

Your new roleAs Project Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover
  • Creating and maintaining project programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
  • Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
  • Coordinating with subcontractors are client regarding health and safety inspections and audits
  • Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to specified quality.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven successful track record in managing infrastructure and/or non-infrastructure projects from inception through to completion within the water industry
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and health and safety
  • Sound leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to liaise effectively with key project stakeholders at all levels.
  • Full UK driving licence.
