Warehouse Cell LeaderTelfordPermanent PositionAnnual Salary £40,000.00 +15% shift allowance(Total annual salary inc. shift allowance £46k per annum)Working hours Shift Pattern Double Days 7:00am-15:00pm/15:00pm-23:00pm Monday to FridayWe are recruiting for an experienced warehouse cell/team leader who poses strong work ethics and leadership attributes to join a worldwide automotive manufacturer located in Telford, Shropshire.The right candidate will:- be responsible for day-day shift operation, - ensure goods receipt, storage, picking and despatch functions operate efficiently and maintaining a high level of accuracy and care,- maintain stock integrity,- managing team performanceMain responsibilities:- Lead in daily operations whilst guiding and motivating your team to meet deadlines.- The delivery of parts from the DC into the various manufacturing lines on a just in time basis.- Manage your team and contract staff to meet the required targets and ensure the operation remains profitable by balancing labour costs against volume.- Where necessary support the team on process to ensure timely completion of all tasks and duties.- Develop a culture of continuous improvement in all staff (Kaizen)- Monitor daily performances of all associates to meet customer deadlines.- Demonstrate the Leadership behaviours and standards expected in line with our Core values.- Lead change by promoting new approaches and effective communication- Manage team performance through appraisals and feedback.- High level of administrative duties which must be completed to ensure compliance.To apply for this exciting position please call our office on or apply on line.
