- Review incoming forms and ensure claims are settled within the agreed (SLAs).
- Assess new and ongoing claim submissions by reviewing all claim documentation provided.
- Gather and verify information from customers and veterinary practices to accurately assess claims.
- Ensure valid claims are paid promptly and any anomalies are queried or declined as necessary.
- Identify potentially fraudulent claims and follow the agreed process for referral.
- Provide exceptional customer service through timely and accurate claim processing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues, promoting professionalism at all times.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical aspects, product offerings, and systems to effectively explain policy coverage to customers.
- Must have veterinary nurse experience or prior pet claims assessing experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Solid data entry and IT skills.
- A flexible attitude and willingness to take on new tasks.
- Previous experience in pet claims assessing.
- A collaborative, fast-paced work environment.
