This company is seeking a dynamic and innovative Tooling Engineer to join its vibrant team. What You Will Do:

  • Own and deliver all new Tooling projects, ensuring they meet the company's high standards.
  • Review and buy off Tooling designs, managing the project from inception to completion.
  • Oversee sampling and commissioning at suppliers and home line, attending buy off events.
  • Produce 2D product, tooling, fixture, equipment drawings to support manufacturing, quality, and engineering activities.
  • Apply design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to evaluate product designs, ensuring optimal efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement activities by proposing product design changes and tooling improvements.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD Software, particularly SolidWorks and Catia.
  • Strong background in Tooling design, preferably within, Stamping, or Mould design sectors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Knowledge of Aluminium Cast part manufacturing processes and a solid understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering principles.
  • A proactive approach with excellent organisational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
