What You Will Do:
- Own and deliver all new Tooling projects, ensuring they meet the company's high standards.
- Review and buy off Tooling designs, managing the project from inception to completion.
- Oversee sampling and commissioning at suppliers and home line, attending buy off events.
- Produce 2D product, tooling, fixture, equipment drawings to support manufacturing, quality, and engineering activities.
- Apply design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to evaluate product designs, ensuring optimal efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement activities by proposing product design changes and tooling improvements.
What You Will Bring:
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD Software, particularly SolidWorks and Catia.
- Strong background in Tooling design, preferably within, Stamping, or Mould design sectors.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages.
- Knowledge of Aluminium Cast part manufacturing processes and a solid understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering principles.
- A proactive approach with excellent organisational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
