We are currently recruiting for two Facilities Engineers for Manufacturing client based in Telford.
The main purpose of this role is to maintain all services to the factory, process and fabric of the building and to install new services.
The Facilities Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to customer service. The ideal candidate will be based at the Telford Manufacturing Plant and will be part of the facilities team.
Duties
- Daily Plant checks and readings as required by the company
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement or repair.
- Maintaining site services to the factory and all processes. That includes electric/air and water
- Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues and provide solutions.
- Electrical fault finding and rectification
- Maintain AHU/AC systems
- Installation of new machines and services
- All external works
- Waste Water treatment
- 5S for the whole factory
- Contractor monitoring
Skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- 18th Edition Electrical qualified. Good knowledge and ability
- Able to strip and rebuild pumps
- Plumbing experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for clear interaction with team members.
- Full UK driving licence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £40k plus an additional shift allowance of 15%.
