Manufacturing Engineer

Morson are recruiting a number of Manufacturing Engineers to work full time on site in Telford on initial 6 - 9 month contracts. The Manufacturing Engineer will have NX, SAP and Teamcenter experience, Autocad experience would also be useful.

There are a number of roles available but for all roles we are looking for Manufacturing Engineers with a strong automotive/aerospace/defence/heavy engineering background.

Experience of some or all of the following is required:

• Strip Work Instruction and Build Work Instruction Creation – Spending time with the production team capturing the work content and writing work instructions.
• PFMEA Creation – During the work carried out to write the SWI's, data will need to be gathered to populate the PFMEA further.
• Supporting shop floor during build tasks and confirmation of build stages and work content to ensure best processes are being followed.

• Building Setup – writing detailed specs for kitting out a manufacturing facility, this will involve creating plans for delivery, engaging with contractors for installation/commissioning of equipment. Engaging with all stakeholders to ensure that process flows are correct and material delivery meets the output of production.

Srong IT skills - Microsoft Excel, are required for all roles as is fluency in the use of CAD packages ie NX and a good understanding of Teamcenter. The use of SAP is critical to the role.

Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance,
