What You Will Do:

• Lead the Product and Tooling Design Team, ensuring product designs are suitable for manufacture and meet customer requirements.
• Manage tooling specification documentation and support RFQ activities for new and production running tools/equipment.
• Oversee tooling/Equipment design sign-off, final acceptance, and manage data systems linked with manufacturing processes.
• Implement best practices and lessons learned through the product life cycle, including design for manufacturability and continuous improvement activities.
• Utilise 3D and 2D CAD for product design changes and tooling improvements, and manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
• Lead and develop the team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering an environment of growth and innovation.

What You Will Bring:

• Proficiency in 3D SolidWorks, Catia software, and Microsoft Office Packages.
• Engineers with experience of Injection mould, diecast or press tooling will have the right skills for this role
• A proactive approach, strong leadership skills, and the flexibility to travel overseas as required.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis.
