An experienced Production Manager with a background in food production is wanted by an expanding independent manufacturer.

You’ll be joining them at an exciting stage of their growth, leading & mentoring a growing team of dedicated operators in their brand new production facility.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Leadership experience within a food production/manufacturing or FMCG environment is a must
  • Excellent people management skills – the team will be looking to you for guidance, development and support
  • Great understanding of food hygiene and general workplace HSE – qualifications like Food Hygiene L3 or IOSH would be good to see
  • You will be capable of, and ultimately want to, grow with the business and take on new & exciting challenges as your career progresses.
  • A positive energetic outlook to match the rest of the team

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading & developing the skilled production team with a hands-on approach to deliver safety, quality, plan and minimise waste.
  • Reporting into the Operations Manager
  • Review headcount & staffing structures against business needs with the rest of the senior leadership team
  • Participate regularly in quality related initiatives.
  • Ensuring full compliance readiness for all auditing
  • Uphold the standards of GMP
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture
