Job Advert: Production Line Leader
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Salary: £13.36 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Rotating shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Line Leader to oversee the operations of high-care areas within a busy production environment. This role involves ensuring a safe workplace, meeting production targets, maintaining product quality, and supervising team members to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies and enforce health and safety regulations.
- Time Management: Efficiently manage production line operations to meet planned volume targets.
- Food Safety: Fulfill all food safety requirements and maintain strict adherence to hygiene standards.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards with attention to detail.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete all necessary paperwork and update records accurately, including notes on any issues.
- Team Leadership: Provide clear guidance to line operators and act as a role model for best practices.
- Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within production areas.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in initiatives to improve processes and efficiency.
- Adaptability: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
