**Production Supervisor needed in Telford, Shropshire**

We are on the lookout for an ambitious Production Supervisor to join a well established manufacturing business in Telford, this would be working a day shift pattern Monday to Friday and the role comes with an annual salary up to £40,000 per annum (dependant on experience).

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has a background in Electrical Manufacturing, and previous experience within an Electrical Assembly, Electrical Fitting, Panel Wiring or Switchgear business would be well received.

**What You Will Do:**

  • Act as the primary point of contact for shop floor personnel, addressing production issues, shortages, and providing general guidance.
  • Lead daily shopfloor walkarounds with management & engineers, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all jobs.
  • Promote and ensure a safe, clean, and tidy work environment, enforcing Health & Safety procedures.
  • Oversee the goods inward and despatch process, managing overtime to meet production targets.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Operations Manager & Production Manager regarding workload and labour allocation.
  • Manage consumable stock levels and perform basic forklift duties as required.

**What You Will Bring:**

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and guiding a team.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Forklift operation skills would be advantageous.
