Production Team Leader

Salary: £31.5,000 starting, increasing with full training up to £41,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced production team leader to join our manufacturing client, based in Telford. You will be leading a large team of production operatives, which will include packers and machine operatives and complete all relevant paperwork per shift. The company offers an increasing holiday entitlement along with the opportunity to increase your salary when you meet certain performance markers.

The Production Team Leader will be responsible for:

  • Leading a large team of production and machine operatives
  • Ensuring the operators work to the correct quality, health and safety standards
  • Measuring each lines performance and recording information
  • Implementing improvements on the line based on findings
  • Organise NPIs and changeovers
  • Support the Supervisor with achieving shift KPIs
  • Complete quality control documentation

Skills and Experience required:

  • Previously lead a team in a production / manufacturing environment
  • Effective communicator and team player
  • IT literate and good level of numeracy
  • Be flexible to work; days and nights and change to static shifts when required
  • This role would suit a candidate with previous experience as a Production Supervisor / Shift Leader / Shift Supervisor / Shift Manager
