Buyer Are you an experienced Buyer with a background in the automotive industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional to join a dynamic team and play a crucial role in supplier management, cost control, and procurement strategy execution. The Role:As a Buyer, you will be responsible for monitoring supplier performance, implementing sourcing strategies, and supporting contract and category management for both direct and indirect commodities. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal value, compliance, and performance.

What You'll Need:

  • Automotive sector experience with a focus on purchasing and project management.
  • Knowledge of press tooling and assembly purchases.
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance Frameworks (QAFs) and data analysis.
  • MCIPS qualification (or working towards it).
  • Engineering qualifications (preferred).
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Previous experience in an OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to drive cost savings.
