Pertemps are recruiting for their manufacturing client based in the South of Telford we are looking for a Full time, Temporary to Permanent Night Shift Supervisor to run a team of ten manufacturing operators overnight.
As part of this role you will be managing and co-ordinating all the production activities, ensuring products are manufactured in a timely manner and supervising the production staff, providing guidance, and training and issuing performance feedback.
You will also be monitoring production processes to ensure maintenance of quality control standards, in addition working on production schedules to optimise workflows and collaborating with other departments to meet production goals and resolve issues.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Supervisor experience managing a team of 15-20 employees
- Good communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Good motivator
- Basic computer skills (emails, spreadsheets, word etc)
- Use measuring equipment
- Reading and understanding technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues

4.30pm 3am
Monday Thursday
Salary
£16.82 - £19.23 per Hour
