Field Service Engineer

Automated Machinery

Basic Salary: £41,000 - £45,000 (OTE c£50k+).

Package: PaidOvertime + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card + Company Credit Card + Full Tool Kit + Additional Payments for Weekend Working + Pension + Full Machinery Specific Training.

Business Location: Telford, Shropshire (UK Wide Travel)

Owing to significant demand for their machinery and additional contracts recently being secured, a market leading engineering business are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their machinery service team. With multiple sites on a worldwide basis and fantastic growth plans, this business is offering a fantastic technically challenging role, significant training and furthermore secure career path for the right Engineer.

You may already be working within a Field Service Engineering capacity and are looking for a fresh challenge or are a static Industrial Maintenance Engineer looking for your first on the road role, both backgrounds are of interest to this business. Comprehensive machinery specific training is provided for this position, allowing significant routes for skill development and advancement.

If you are excited by working on highly automated production lines within diverse environments and have a strong multi skilled engineering background, this could be the role for you!

The ideal Engineer will be based within a 70-mile radius of Telford, Shropshire.

Role Description.

Carrying out servicing, repairs, and installations of machinery / equipment on customer sites across the UK.

Utilising both electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills to perform both reactive and planned maintenance activities.

Liaising with customers and using effective time management skills to ensure engineering work is carried out within agreed time frames.

Provision of repair data and reporting of unresolved faults with the service manager.

Home based and travelling on a UK wide basis.

Skills & Experience.

Multi Skilled Field Service or Maintenance Engineering experience.

Experience of working on pneumatic or hydraulic systems (desirable).

Level 3+ qualification in an Engineering discipline.

Industrial Manufacturing background or experience within the forces (Royal Navy / RAF).

Strong communication skills.

Willingness to travel and spend time away from home when required.

A full UK driving license and valid UK passport.
