This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for a pupil with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), helping them to access learning, develop key skills, and thrive in a nurturing school environment.

The Role:

Full-time position during school hours
Working closely with teaching staff, SENCO, and external professionals
Supporting a pupil with SLD in both academic and social development
Adapting learning materials and approaches to suit individual needs
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being

Requirements:

Experience working with children with SLD, SEN, or similar needs (essential)
A patient, caring, and empathetic nature
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow EHCP targets and support plans
A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
