Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or support worker who can support children in an SEN school in TF1. Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and caring individual who can support children on a 1:1 basis or within small groups. Personal care may be involved. Located in Birmingham, the school is a short walk away from public transport. The position is open to all experienced Teaching Assistants and support workers who have some experience in a similar role. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS · Location - TF1 · Position - SEN TA · Type of work - Classroom and SEN support · Contract or position start date - ASAP · Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary · Full time/part time - Full time · Minimum rate of pay - GBP 100 per day · Hours - 8:00 am - 3.30pm : Mon - Fri (term time only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS · 6 months experience in the UK · Previous experience in a similar setting TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: · Hold Right to Work in the UK · Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application · Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
