We are currently working with a dedicated alternative provision school specializing in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs who are looking for an experienced General Teacher. Our mission is to support and empower students facing significant challenges in mainstream education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs.
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Manage challenging behaviour with effective de-escalation techniques.
- Collaborate with LSAs, therapists, and parents to support each student’s development.
- Motivate students to engage with their education and develop social skills.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred.
- Experience in an SEMH or alternative provision setting.
- Understanding of mental health issues and their impact on education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
