Mike Collins Recruitment are currently recruiting for MIG Welders for our busy manufacturing company based in Telford. Nights and day shifts available.

Duties:

Weld and structural steel units.

Read from engineering drawings to assemble and welding units.

Quality control.

Jobs can vary from one offs to 100s of units so must be versatile.

Experience:

Must have previous MIG welding and fabrication experience is essential.

TIG welding would be an advantage but not essential.

Read and interpret engineering drawings.

Hours and rates of pay are:

Days: Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.15pm, Friday 7.30am - 1.30pm.

Rate of pay: £13.50ph. Timekeeping and attendance bonus available once perm.

Nights: Monday to Thursday 4.30pm - 5am. 48 hour working week.

Rate of pay: £14.50ph. 39 hours paid at standard rate, 9 hours paid at time and a third.

Overtime available: Mon-Fri- x1.33, Sat- x1.5, Sun x2.

This is a temporary to permanent position for the successful candidate.
