Our client is looking for a Chemistry Team Leader to be based in a high throughput laboratory n Cambridge.
You will be managing a team of analysts and deputising for the Lab Manager:
- Supervision of staff to ensure the generation of accurate and timely data
- Maintenance of the Quality Management System
- Managing the performance, training and development of staff
- Conducting appraisals in line with Company policies and procedures.
- To stand in for the laboratory manager in meetings etc. when required
- Maintain and drive divisions internal TAT target(s) and KPI target(s)
- Hands on in the Chemistry lab - performing techniques necessary
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in a Scientific discipline
- Experience of working in a chemistry laboratory
- People/Man management experience
- Experience in managing and training junior staff
