If so, this role could be just the ticket!We are delighted to be assisting a long-standing client with their search for an Assistant Accountant to help out in the short-to-medium term whilst they undergo a departmental restructure; the initial contract duration will be circa. 3 months, but could well be extended or even lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.Key duties will include:- Using SAGE to produce invoices- Manage bank payments & reconciliations, including foreign currency payments- Posting month end journals and assisting up to trial balance- Reconciling supplier statements- Corresponding with customers to ensure payment of invoices- Generalist support in the accounts department, as directed by the Group FDIn order to be considered, you need to have:- Significant experience in a similar role- Strong communication skills- A diligent, professional approach to work- Knowledge of Microsoft packages, and proficiency in using Excel (e.g., Pivot tables, lookups)- Accountancy qualifications would be advantageous but aren't essentialThis is a fantastic opportunity for a progressive & ambitious accounts professional to further develop and grow their skill set, as part of a highly experienced and super friendly team, within a manufacturing business that has sat at the forefront of their industry for over 25 years!**Unfortunately we cannot consider candidates requiring sponsorship or relocation, due to the tight timeline on this one.
