Our well established client, who work within the construction industry, are recruiting for an Accounts/IT Assistant to grow their friendly and supportive finance department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team who work collaboratively to consistently deliver an excellent service to their customers and staff too! You will work from their offices in Tewkesbury on a permanent, full time basis.
You will be responsible for providing administrative and IT support through building strong working relationships and communication with both the finance and project teams whilst providing support and assisting with the resolution of any problems effectively.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in finance and be technically savvy to support the wider business with general IT related enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
-Process purchase invoices
-Liaise with the contracts team to ensure timely invoice approval
-Raise purchase orders
-Process month end payment runs
-Enter payments on to accounting software
-Month end processes i.e. reconciling supplier accounts
-General accounts administration
-Assist with customer and supplier enquiries as required
-Take internal calls related to IT support and liaise with external IT support where appropriate
Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch break)
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum + 22 days holiday plus bank holidays + free onsite parking
