We are hiring for a leading aerospace engineering businessfocused on innovative aircraft systems. They seek a Contract Stress Engineerto assist with the scope of tasks including:

  1. FEA within Ansys workbench.
  2. Yield and Ultimate analysis
  3. Fatigue Analysis and Damage Calculation
  4. Threaded Fastener Analysis
  5. Damage Tolerance Analysis using Nasgro

The package of work we have in mind would be an update to an existing report accounting for changes in pressures and duty cycles.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in landing gear stress analysis in aerospace.
  • Proficiency in FEA software.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards.
