Brand new opportunity to join the team of an expanding business with big future growth plans! They are currently looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to enhance their existing sales team on a full time, permanent basis from their modern offices in Tewkesbury.

Working within the events space our client have worked on dynamic projects for Wimbledon, Burghley Horse Trials, Quatar Airways and many more, providing a vital product and service for each exhibition and event. With many of their clients being based across the UK and Europe you will have the opportunity to travel abroad to attend all expenses paid for events with recent trips being to Paris and Barcelona.

Your primary role will be to generate new business during quieter periods with the view of developing a portfolio of account customers which will transition over to the account management team. You will be accountable for the effective management of these clients whilst being an important link between the sales team and the operational side of the business.

The ideal candidate will be technically minded and have previous experience working within the audio-visual market. You will become an important part of the sales journey, and your work will not go unnoticed with an excellent bonus structure in place, exciting progression opportunities, company benefits and annual summer and winter events.

Responsibilities:

-Identify new business opportunities in the IT / Networks sector including festivals, conferences, exhibitions and outdoor events

-Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities

-Build relationships with new clients, assessing their needs, and developing proposals

-Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients

-Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients

-Attend client visits, conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners whilst staying up to date with new trends

-Create sales forecasts and actively work towards reaching them

-Possess a strong understanding of the company’s products, and industry competition

-Support the Partnerships Director to achieve set targets to contribute to the overall success of the company

-Take accountability for operational efficiency with correct Gross Margins

-Liaise directly with clients on and off site ensuring 5* customer satisfaction

-Report figures on a weekly basis, on 6-month pipeline

Candidate Attributes:

-Knowledge in the audio-visual market or events industry

-Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to form and maintain strong working relationships

-Ability to make key decisions to help meet both external and internal budgets

-Organised with the ability to remain calm during busier periods

-Determined mindset and ability to work to achievable, personalised targets

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm (flexibility to work some weekends to attend events both in the UK & Europe will be required - all expenses paid)

Salary: Competitive base salary + excellent bonus and benefits package including free parking
