Are you a motivated and enthusiastic professional looking to be part of a thriving company with ambitious growth plans? Our client, an expanding business based in Tewkesbury, is seeking a dynamic individual to strengthen their sales team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Company

Operating within the events sector, our client has worked on high-profile projects for renowned names such as Wimbledon, Burghley Horse Trials, and Qatar Airways, delivering essential products and services for exhibitions and events. With a strong client base across the UK and Europe, this role offers exciting opportunities for all-expenses-paid travel, with recent trips including Paris and Barcelona.

The Role

As part of the sales team, you will play a key role in driving business growth. Your primary focus will be to generate new business during quieter periods, with the goal of building a strong portfolio of account customers, which will later transition to the account management team. You will also act as a vital link between the sales and operations teams, ensuring seamless client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities in the IT/Networks sector, including festivals, conferences, exhibitions, and outdoor events.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and secure new clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Pitch products and services effectively to prospective customers.
  • Attend client meetings, industry events, and conferences to foster relationships and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the company.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products and industry competition.
  • Work closely with the Partnerships Director to drive business success.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and profitability by managing projects with the correct gross margins.
  • Provide weekly sales reports and maintain an updated six-month pipeline.
