RE Recruitment are looking for food operatives on a full-time temp to perm basis for a client based in Tewkesbury. The company are a manufacturer of food produce supplying the local and further afield markets. the company are expanding and looking of new operatives to join the team into their future team leaders & managers of the business.

You will join either a production team or pack house team.

The company are serious about your personal development and upskilling their team – All managers and team leader have come from the factory floor, and they promote from within. There are many different avenues you can take starting as a production operative.

You will work initially in a production environment and been trained on different packing and processing machinery. Though a base knowledge of food manufacturing is advantageous the company are looking for career driven people with the right attitude to join the business.

Having previous production or food manufacturing expereince is not essential

Production team

*Lifting of goods.

*Quality checking products 

*Cleaning on kit of ends of runs

*Operating processing and packing automated machinery (Training given)

Pack House.

*Working at speed packing completed goods into crates.

*Washing of bottles and crates.

*Cleaning equipment after production runs

Shifts times.

6am till end of production (Normally 2.30pm-3pm)

You will be expected to flexible with your working times including doing shifts that are 2pm till 10pm thought majority of your working time will be AM

Business hours Monday to Saturday – 40 hours per week – overtime paid @1.25 after 40 hours

To be considered you will need to drive and have your own transport

Progression opportunities from start to finish ascending order

Production operatives – first 4 months £11.57

Trainee Machine operatives – 6-12 months £12.60

Single line operatives – 12-18 months - £13.51

Multi line operatives - £13,51

Immediate full time stable work avaiable immediately
