CNC Cell Leader - Days

Mill / Turn Mazak Integrex

Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
Salary £38 40k

We are looking for a highly skilled and competent Engineer with a proven track record and experience using CNC Mill/Turn (Mazax Integrex) multi axis machinery.

You will be a working CNCCell Leader capable of setting and running a variety of multi axis tools and experienced in managing and leading a team of CNC machinists in a complex precision product environment.

The CNC Cell Leader will work as part of a wider engineering led team to produce quality precision engineered components to detailed specifications within strict production timeframes and tight tolerances.

The ideal CNC Cell Leader will have experience / knowledge in:

Setting, operating and programming a variety of CNC mill/turn machining centres to produce fixtures and fittings, preferably in a highly compliant environment working to tight tolerances

Speeds and feeds for different raw materials; controls; programming; safety and in-depth tooling knowledge

FANUC / Mazatrol control language and MasterCam programming

Lean Manufacturing and CI strategies

CMM inspection and manual measuring capabilities

The ideal CNC Cell Leader will have the ability to:

Lead, motivate and assess performance and identify training needs

Engineering qualification from City and Guilds / HNC or similar

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with complex precision components out of difficult to manufacture materials.T his could be an opportunity to transition into your first leadership role whilst maintaining your technical ability.
